Kim and Shar wanted to arrange a fun, elegant, intimate and personal wedding, while including several elements from their Persian background to the civil wedding ceremony. Quite a brief, for a wedding planner, but with our creative background, that's the kind of challenge we prefer.

After readings in Arabic by the father of the groom, tradition states that two happily married women will hold a white square silk over the couple while a third scrapes a kallehquand (sugar loaf), causing sweetness to "rain down" on them

Hello Ben,

Kim and I just wanted to thank you again for a seamless, dream-fulfilling wedding experience. Everyone had a great time.

The musicians were wonderful and really gave the reception the atmosphere we were looking for, as were the staff of the restaurant. We know that the musicians and reception were schedule to end at 10:30 yet with all the fun, we ended up remaining there until midnight...!

Shar and Kim
