"...A wedding is one of the most treasured and special events in a person's life. Many emotional, meaningful and candid moments occur. These moments are missed by taking only traditional posed photos. Reportage wedding photography aims to capture each moment of your wedding day in a journalistic style, as it occurs, honestly, spontaneously. The result will be your Story Book Wedding Album which consists of a sequence of those special instances, preserved for a lifetime. Photographs which are a sensitive artistic documentation of a unique experience. Your story. Your day. The day goes by so quickly it seems to become a blur. How precious it is to open your Story Book and crystallize your memory. It can even reveal the moments you missed. One image can tell many stories.

I have the privilege, as an artist, to record one of the most important moments of your life. Intimately paying attention so as to get the real story. Pictures which reflect the emotion of the day, the human experience. Where possible, I aim to stand back and make myself invisible. I will capture all of the important little details. I realize how much time and effort a bride spends to make her day perfect. It's your day not mine. I am a woman. I understand the feminine universe and it's complexities. “It is important that you are comfortable with your photographer. The photographer needs to understand and respect the moment, not dictate and pose the protagonists into a false over-romanticized shoot. The photographer should have the ability to be invisible, but occasionally willing to be the fool. Fly on the wall and catcher of smiles. Technically sound to catch those moments before they fly away. Less formal photographs keeps the wedding flowing and fun. Recording the day as photojournalist reflects it more honestly. However, I understand that most people also like to include a few formal shots. Classic doesn't have to be dull though!

A little suggestion here or there, but I avoid traditional posing. This means you can relax and trust me. I will take naturally flattering pictures. We all deserve beautiful photos of ourselves to show the grandchildren. “After each wedding I spend hours working on each and every image. Just the way they do in all the magazines, I touch up my images. Unnoticeably, I remove that untimely spot. I subtly suggest the mood of the day. This gives the images a Fine Art look. I consider each and every image in your album important. I am not a wedding photographer. I am an Artist who makes Story Book Wedding Albums. Each album is unique, reflecting you and your day.
