You got a real sense of us very quickly without us having to be very specific and we both appreciate the care and attention you gave to all the details. The flowers were stunning and they transformed the villa. You helped make the ceremony serious but informal and the music throughout the day was excellent and everyone loved the band.

Many thanks also to all the catering staff; our friends and family are still talking about the food especially the apple & vodka sorbet and the wild boar pasta. Those who had not been seduced by Italy before certainly are now.

Your professional yet sociable style is a winning combination - we don't plan to need your services again(!) however would highly recommend you to anyone who wants a fabulous wedding in Italy.

Just wanted to write a huge, heartfelt thank you for everything you did to make our wedding last week so special. We loved everything about it and so did all our friends and family.

Your service, help and advice has been amazing throughout the whole planning of the wedding. The whole process has been entirely stress-free and we are so glad and grateful that we chose Italyweddings to organise our day.

The best thing for us was that on the day, we were all totally relaxed and able to enjoy the day with family and friends, knowing you were there, behind the scenes, making everything perfect. Marisa was so calm and amazing, helping us to get ready and creating the most wonderful flowers and decorations. Our guests have all said it was the most beautiful, relaxed wedding weekend - thanks to you and your team.

I am missing our daily emails already, but hope I have been replaced by many other neurotic MOB's who will keep you equally busy. It was so lovely to meet you both and we would love to meet up again one day, when we return to Tuscany. Love from all of us.

You listened to our brief and chose for us the perfect location. The villa opened up a dream setting for a string of parties and gatherings that our families and friends will never forget. It was intimate but grandiose. We have never been so priviliged to spend so much time in such a glamourous location.. Not to mention sleeping in Bridget Bardots bed!

Waking up to the beautiful Tuscan views and the breakfasts you organised was a joy to all of us. Fabiola and the catering team wre really generous with their time. They cooked the fresh croissants to perfection and no one had tried scrambled egg that good before. It meant we could all relax and enjoy breakfast at our own pace and listen to some nice soothing classical music. The pizza party was so cool. It felt like an ibizian pool party and set the tone nicely for the next day.

The wedding day was the best day of our lives. Your military precision with the cars and ceremony was so slick, the mayor could learn a trick or two from you! You made the service easy and enjoyable for all in the beautiful setting of San Gimignano.

On return to the villa Marisa's flowers and decoration was unbelievable. We really noticed that Marisa picked the highest quality avalanche roses and the dark lilies and indulged the whole place with elegance...Beautiful, beautiful - Complimenti! The way you guys zoned the villa worked really well and everyone loved sipping THE best Bellinis and eating burrata under that wonderful tree at the back of the villa.

It was like a scene out of the last supper the way the wedding banquet table was perched on the edge of the Tuscan hills. Magnificent table decoration and simply beautiful name cards and menu. We saw at least two people photograph theirs! The band were great and ambient. Your discreet orchestration of the lunch and beyond was really well done. It was so nice to have a true English gentleman behind the scenes.

Venue ; well we were over the moon with this amazing back-drop for the day, and we are extremely grateful that you managed to arrange this at such short notice !!!. It made our lives a lot easier and created the Wow factor that we may not have got from our original choice.

The castle gardens were simply stunning the fountains and the details created such an atmosphere . All I could hear from people as the entered the garden was Wow !! and then to top it off when you walk in the courtyard it was simply magical!

Flowers: A big thank you to Marisa - the church looked amazing, and just how I had envisaged it. The candles and flowers created a warmth intimacy which is exactly the brief we gave. Marisa calmed me down in the build up to the wedding, and I completely trusted her taste and judgement on the venue, and ambience we wanted to create. It was above and beyond our expectations.

Many of the guest's comments were "We felt like Millionaires for the day !!!!" which is quite amazing. We had so many comments about my bouquet which was stunning and worked so well with my vintage look dress - it completed the look. The display flowers and candles on the table and around the courtyard were simply beautiful, and created the vintage twinkly feel that we wanted throughout the wedding.

Please send our thanks to the band who were just amazing in the church and during the party. When you prepare, so much and have such an expectation, it was simply mind blowing to see them perform the music we had chosen. I absolutely loved the singers voice it was so perfect for the church and the venue.

Thanks again for making the ceremony perfect for us, and the entirel wedding event beyond our expectations.

We know that our ideas were very precise and specific but you were patient, absorbed our ideas and completely understood what we wanted. You then added added your own ideas and the result was the most unbelievable day in the magical setting of the castle. Every aspect of the wedding exceeded our expectations a hundred times over:

- The catering - wow!! The aperitifs and seated meal was truly delicious and the most delicious food that we tasted during our travels around Italy. The food (and in particular the divine wedding cake created in real time) is still being talked about by our guests. Our guests have also told us that they were a little slow to get into the dancing as they simply could not move after the huge amount of delicious food served throughout the day.

- The band and classical musicians - absolutely amazing! The mood created by them for each part of the day was perfect. We don't know if the band told you but at the end of the night our guests heckled them for more as they couldn't get enough of their great songs and were asking how we had managed to find a band that were so good; we obviously told them that it was entirely down to you.

Flowers and venue set up - What can we say?! Marisa, you are incredibly talented and the flowers and overall layout of the venue was stunningly beautiful. We felt overwhelmed with the beauty of every area in the venue that you created; the outdoor ceremony, the seated meal and the stunning display where the cake was made. It did not go unnoticed that you didn't just create beautiful arrangements as per our instructions, but you went beyond that and added your own ideas to create stunning displays and special touches that enhanced the features of the beautiful castle.

... there is simply too much to thank you both for!

I know you do quite a few of these events, and it probably is routine for you. But, it was quite spectacular for me, my daughter, and our family. I just wanted to let you know that.

Through your patient and professional demeanor throughout, you kept my daughter calm, which is something that I haven't mastered after all of these years.

What can we say, it's been just over a month since our magical wedding in Tuscany and we are still on cloud nine. Never in a million years did we imagine our day to be as wonderful as it was. What we achieved would never have been possible without you and for that we will be eternally grateful.

Our Tuscan Fairytale ....

We first met the man who would help us to plan our big day in June 2008 when we came to Tuscany to find a venue for our dream wedding. Chewing casually on his pipe and sporting a fine Italian suit Ben Singleton was calmness personified from that very first meeting. He was happy to listen to our ideas and make suggestions based on his vast knowledge and experience in the industry. We weren't the easiest people to please when it came to finding the perfect venue for our big day, some places were too small, others too big ... but it was Ben's connections that led us to Villa Cristina, a beautifully restored property nestled in the Tuscan Hills just half an hour from the medieval town of San Gimignano. The ideal place to host a small and intimate wedding and holiday with friends and family.

With the venue secured and life awaiting us back in the UK we left Ben with a list of requirements and told him to expect plenty of emails.

Over the next few months Ben and his team planned everything from the official documentation, to the food and music. Ben and Luce responded promptly to all emails (some sent daily) and phone calls and provided reassurance every step of the way. As a bride you worry about so many little things and having someone there as a constant sounding board offering ideas and solutions takes away so much of the stress that planning a wedding can bring.

There were also numerous occasions when Ben performed duties that far outweighed his job description. I recall asking him to measure a table in San Gimignano Town Hall at least three times more than I should have done to ensure the cloth I was having made fit perfectly. On another occasion Wes asked him to do a spot of window shopping in Florence pricing up a designer suit he'd seen online. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

We returned to San Gimignano three months prior to the wedding, to dot the i's and cross the t's (another excuse to sample the culinary delights and fine wine that Tuscany has to offer!) It was during this trip, over a cappuccino under of the shadow of Florence's famous Duomo that we met the talented Marisa, of inflower.it to discuss our flowers. We'd seen the pictures on Ben's website of Marisa's work and were keen to talk through our ideas for a contemporary theme based upon our love of orchids. Like Ben says 'flowers can make or break the perfect wedding' and ours definitely made it. Even now one of the first things people say to me when they see the pictures is 'gosh your flowers were fabulous'. Marisa did such a wonderful job, what met us in the town hall that day, were the most beautiful and unusual wedding flowers I've ever seen. Delicate and stylish they complimented the room wonderfully. The bouquet was stunning, I was so sad to leave it behind when we returned home at the end of the holiday. As for the table compositions and individual vases, we couldn't have asked for more.

The night before the wedding Ben co-ordinated a rehearsal dinner for out guests at the villa. It was a delicious feast made from fresh local produce. The staff were wonderful, we didn't even know they were there, they cooked, served and cleaned with little fuss and left with a reassurance that the food planned for the following day would be even better than what we'd just sampled, which was hard to believe. But they were right. What a wedding feast, if only we could eat it again! From the delicious canapes which were served by the pool to the apple and vodka sorbets we devoured in-between the fillet steak and lemon torte .... the food was devine. The flowers and the cuisine were only a small part of what made our wedding day the best day of our lives. The beautiful backdrop of San Gimignano created a wonderful talking point for our family and friends and the well wishes from tourists keen to take our picture in the square were truly overwhelming, I doubt we would ever have received that type of reception here in the UK.

As the Tuscan sun set on that perfect September day and we sat down to enjoy our meal the band (recommended by Ben) struck up with a collection of swing classics to create a charming ambience. The musicians were brilliant performing numbers from Frank Sinatra to Stevie Wonder. Within moments of the meal finishing the dance floor was full and remained that way until they played their final tune in the wee small hours.

These are just a few of the memories Ben and his team helped to create for us on that special day .... An event as fabulous and memorable as our day was would never have been possible without their expertise.

Finally....

Thank you Ben, Marisa and Luce from the bottom of our hearts for listening to our wishes and executing our plans to perfection. Few people touch your lives in the way that you did ours. We will never forget you.

Luigi and I couldn't have been happier with the way things turned out. You took care of everything, even the weather - which meant we could relax and enjoy our day together. People say you on your wedding day you never get the chance to speak to your guests or you never get time alone with the groom, but that wasn't so for us, and it's thanks to you. Your help meant we could have the wedding of our dreams, our guests could enjoy a truly fabulous day and we got to enjoy our wedding day just as we should have, together as husband and wife!

Please also give a big thank you to the photographers who were excellent and please pass on my thanks to your lovely wife for her flowers, they were just what I wanted, and complemented everything beautifully. My mum still can't believe her daughter got married in an Italian villa! I've never seen her so proud.

I will be recommending you and your team to everyone and have already extolled the virtues of getting married in Italy with Italyweddings!

Everything was exactly as we imagined it. Walking out of the town hall in San Gimignano into a square full of cheering people and clouds of confetti was like a dream - I felt like I was famous! The cake was an enormous hit as were the band- our friends and family had nothing but praise for them- especially my parents!! The flowers were amazing, please thank Marisa from me, again just what I wanted.

There are too many highlights from the day for us to name but suffice it to say you made our dream of a beautiful Tuscan wedding come true! Not to mention that you even invited us over for lunch afterwards - how many wedding planners would do that!! One of our friends has written in our wedding guestbook 'BEST WEDDING EVER' which sums it all up!
