This castle is located in the hills around Perugia - right in the heart of Umbria, central Italy, among oak forests and ancient agricultural land.

The main building is a powerful structure built in sandstone: austere in its imposing form, it dominates the Tiber valley. The wonderful castle is set in a highly panoramic position on the crest of a hill, offering superb views of Perugia, Assisi and the Umbrian countryside. Luxuriant valleys and hills covered in olive groves and vineyards.

In front of the castle is the external gardens: large squares, an extensive lawned balcony and a panoramic terrace - a viewpoint and frame for a wedding celebration which is suggestive during the day, and magical in the torch-lit evening.

The spaces around and in the castle themselves are equally special: the ancient walls, chapels, stairways, terraces, arches, bridges and courtyards create a multitude of views in an unforgettable atmosphere perfect for an aperitif or seated reception, either indoors or out.

The main building of the castle houses splendid halls and dining rooms, able to offer hospitality for up to 200 guests; heated by large fireplaces in the winter, and kept cool by the thick stone walls in the summer.

La Rocca also gives you the possibility of celebrating legally binding civil weddings in the garden or in the old church.

Accommodation:

Beautiful, inviting rooms, in an elegant atmosphere. Across from the castle is located the converted monastery, containing a series of suites and rooms, while the old look-out tower houses rooms and apartments.

The total capacity of the structure is for a maximum of 76 guests, in 12 double rooms of various types, 3 apartments in the castle, and adjoining structures.
