At Italyweddings, we are passionate about central Italy, and Tuscany in particular, where we live and work. The towns, villages and villas here are among the most beautiful and interesting in Europe, and the countryside, the light, the nature, are renown worldwide for their quality, magic and beauty. The culture, the cuisine and the society are unmatched in modern Europe, as documented in dozens of books and films, from Under the Tuscan Sun, Room with a View, and The English Patient.

Chianti (Radda, Gaiole...)
The broad area in the heart of Tuscany, in which one of Italy's finest red wines is produced. This area is also where you'll find jewel like villages of Greve in Chianti, Gaiole in Chianti, Panzano... and some of the lovliest villas and castles of Italy.

Southern Tuscany (Cortona, Arezzo...)
The perfect place to be centered in Italy. Made famous due to the books and film "Under The Tuscan Sun", it remains an unspoilt medieval oasis of great food, olive groves, poppy fields, architecture, and relaxation.

Lucca
The walled city is ideally placed between the Tuscan coast, the Appenine mountains, and the valley or Florence. Convenient for Pisa airport, remarkable not only for a culturally active city life, but also the numerous villas that dot the hills around the town

Volterra
One of the finest hilltop towns. Idyllically set amidst a landscape of soft rolling hills, the town is a haven of Etruscan, Roman, Medieval and Rennaissance art and architecture, an area a perfect choice for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. |

Siena
The medieval hilltown, largely unchanged in five hundred years - it's narrow streets free of traffic, the Palio horse race that dominates the life of the city. The town hall - Palazzo Communale - on the main square, the Piazza del Campo.
|

The Tuscan Coast
The Tuscan coast is one of the longest, and most varied in Italy. There are sandy beaches to the north, around Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi - but for a wedding, we prefer the less populated areas to the center and south. The area around Bolgheri and Populonia in particular in central Tuscany, and the wild area of the Maremma to the south.
|

Pistoia, Vinci
Off the beaten tourist route, even though the town center is one of the best preserved in Tuscany. The town is also just a few miles out of Florence, easy to reach, and a great base for visiting Lucca, Pisa, Montecatini, and all of Northern Tuscany.
