WHITE&GOLD GLAMOUR SOPHISTICATED
ABOUT THIS EVENT
Amanda and Gary took their nearest and dearest friends and family from Canada and North America to central Tuscany for a long week-end of coordinated meals and activities, taking in all the best of central Italy, from culture and cuisine to music and dancing. Their brief to us was to have “…a casual, country, romantic event (ceremony with beautiful vista, dinner al fresco under twinkle lights in courtyard or in garden, intimate, elegant). 50-65 people and would love everyone to be able to stay together for 2-3 nights in the same location. Welcome dinner/Cocktail reception, wedding day, brunch and pool party the day after…”
The three days were dedicated to a Pizza Party in all white the evening before, in the front of the vila, a pool party the day after the wedding, and the central day, a special, romantic and intimate event, and we worked with them to design a day that fulfil their objectives.
Meeting with the couple, and further getting to understand their needs, we learned there was a level of glamour and refinement in their plans that was not expressed in the simple brief, and the work on the floral design, the amazing photography, and the lighting was designed especially to reflect the couples less openly expressed needs for a wedding that had a certain elevated sense of elegance and moment.
Amanda and Gary were a pleasure to work with: clear on their needs and their expected investment, ready to discuss the possible consequences and compromises that are part of all event design, gracious and proactive in all parts of the planning.
