Emily and Scott held a legally binding civil wedding in the grounds of this, the most perfect venue, in the area to the South of Tuscany – in the rolling hills between San Gimignano and Volterra.
The couple opted for an unusual ceremony space: choosing to hold the wedding in the main villa hall, adorned with it’s massive chandelier and tall white walls, and decorated with an almost all white floral design. This was a cooler intimate space for a wedding in the heat of July.
The rest of the event used more traditional spaces: a cocktail in the front of the villa, with a vintage Fiat 500 serving prosecco, then the evening meal under the big cedar tree at the back of the villa with heaps of fairy lights and candles.
Cake cutting was back in the front of the villa, allowing for a special firework effect at the cutting.
