Kirsty and Luke, and a party of forty shared a short stay at the wonderful Villa Veneto and a religious blessing at the villa’s chapel.
The whole day was a relaxed and intimate occasion, all on site: the chapel a short walk across the lawn for the guests, then aperitifs, canapés and photographs on the lawn. The seated meal was set up on a long single table in the main hall, while the cake cutting was done in the courtyard, under illuminated paper lanterns, fairy lights around the trees, and lanterns marking the walkway to the cake.
Floral design included a pastel and off-white combination, with glittering glassware and vases for the table. The favors were vintage tea cups, and personalized name tags.
The couple write:
Hope you’re well. So sorry I’ve not left feedback before now. Since the wedding we’ve been in bit of a whirlwind…we’ve re-located to Cornwall, I’ve started a new job and we’re expecting our first child! Nevertheless….
Luke and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and Marisa for making our wedding day so perfect in every way possible. When we first starting thinking about our wedding, we knew we wanted it in Italy. We wanted it to be an intimate service with close friends and family, which was romantic, elegant and set in a picturesque location. With your help, advice and suggestions this is exactly what we got, and much more. It was truly the most wonderful day and it really did surpass all our expectations.
The process from beginning to end was flawless. Your regular contact and prompt responses to our queries kept us reassured and put us at ease, which is definitely what anyone needs when planning a wedding in a different country. Our thoughts were always listened to and our wishes delivered to the highest quality. You made us feel like we were your only clients bringing a personal and unique touch to the overall experience.
On the day itself you were always there when needed but slipped in to the background the rest of the time, no doubt working behind the scenes ensuring the smooth running of the day. Your calm demeanor was so reassuring, putting everyone at ease.
Marisa did an absolutely amazing job with the flowers. Flower arranging isn’t our forte so we put our trust in her and it massively paid off. Her creativity captured our theme and personalities beautifully. It was exactly what I wanted, from the bridal bouquet to the table decorations. Gorgeous! Please could you pass on our heartfelt thanks to her? Also, please could you say a big thank you to the villa owner for her hospitality? She has an amazing home and it certainly provided the Italian elegance we were after for our wedding venue.
The guests had an amazing time and loved ever minute of it. We were quite conscious that they were all traveling from afar so everything needed to go as smoothly as it could. Again, with your help and support, this was certainly achieved. We were touched that you even went out of your way and picked up a few of our guests from the town and brought them to the venue-I’m sure this is a task over and above what any ordinary wedding planner would undertake!
It was a pleasure to met you and we can’t recommend you highly enough to anyone wanting a wedding in Italy.
Thanks once again,
Warmest regards,
Kirsti and Luke
