OVERVIEW

La Foce is an Italian Historic House world-famous gardens, located in the Val D’Orcia. The venue is available for rent by the week or for events and celebrations.

The house is built on three levels, following the lie of the hill, and is surrounded by the splendid formal gardens – the creation of which have been a labour of love lasting many years. Three gardeners look after the premises, including the swimming pool opposite the ‘limonaia’ (orangerie). Two full-time maids (including a local cook) care for the house and its inhabitants.

ACCOMODATION

The villa comprises  6 double bedrooms,  2 twin bedrooms,  3 single bedrooms.

There is a delightful library with fireplace and sofas, a sunlit living room with satellite TV, a central frescoed and balconied dining room for very special evenings, a second dining room closer to the kitchen, a breakfast room with double glass doors facing the private ‘fountain’ garden, and a study.  An ample music room and living room, with fireplace and many comfortable sofas and armchairs, offers great opportunities for entertaining friends and family gatherings.  Upstairs, there is another lovely sitting room and a second kitchen.

All rooms and bedrooms have stunning views over the garden and valley.

Also the wonderful pool, 12 x 4 m. Adjoining the pool, next to the Limonaia, there is a bathroom with shower and WC.

Extra accommodation: the property has several extra, external accommodation options, sleeping up to 24 extra guests for a short stay (3 nights) or up to 45 extra guests for a weekly stay.
