Perfectly located in the area between Umbria and Tuscany, and situated on the top of a hill with a spectacular 360 degree view of rolling countryside, this historic “borgo” (converted hamlet) dates back to 1433.

The guests are accommodated in the three incredibly spacious apartments, located in the heart of the borgo, and in two small detached stone houses. Sleeping capacity: 26 guests.

All the apartments are elegantly furnished with antique furniture. The comfortable and relaxing bedrooms all have en-suite facilities and air conditioning.

The old hamlet’s chapel has been converted into a warm space for delicious buffet breakfasts and dinners, and also available as an internal wedding option in case of poor weather. Other facilities include a tennis court, sauna and private grounds. Free wi-fi internet connection is available throughout the hamlet.

But most of all, Borgo Lavandula makes a unique location for a small wedding. For special groups, 2 extra double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, and 2 singles, are available in the Chapel, giving a maximum capacity of 32 guests.

Ceremonies can be held in the beautifully groomed private grounds. A stunning, ivy covered courtyard makes a perfect place for a romantic wedding banquet by candlelight. The de-consecrated Chapel makes an elegant space for a special banquet. The frescoed room, with a beautiful open fireplace can seat a maximum 30 people.

The panoramic pool area with superb views over the valley, with a fully equipped barbecue area can be used as a dance floor after the wedding banquet, as an open bar / dance / lounge area.
