ABOUT THIS EVENT
Madeline and Colcord have busy professional careers in worlds quite distant from the spin of weddings and events, but they know what they wanted, and asked us to help create an event that was elegant, Autumnal (the wedding was in mid September) and with a strong Tuscan, medieval feel. The castle was their home for three days and the backdrop for the party. Gardens overlooking the souther Tuscan hills were the setting for the blessing in full military dress for many of the guests, and the formality was softened by the warm autumnal florals designed by Marisa at Le Petit Jardin
The meal was the centerpiece of the rest of the night: wonderful round tables with overhead soft lights filled the ivy covered courtyard of the castle, and the feeling of an intimate, private, contained space was ideal for this gathering of reserved yet fun group of family and friends.
