Nikki and Andrew brought a fun loving group of family and friends from the UK to Florence for their wedding celebrations in the height of summer, as good weather and warmth were a part of their plans for the event. They secured the
Castello di Vincigliata as the base for the day.
The couple wanted the wedding day not only to be about themselves as a couple, but about the joy and love of their extended families and their friends – it was a truly inclusive experience, with recognition and participation from all of the many guests.
Pinks and greens were used throughout the day, from the dresses to the flowers and stronger pink tones later at night for the castle illumination and signage.
Quite simply you did an incredible job. All our guests have said it’s simply the best wedding they have ever attended and it will live forever in our memories.
The couple brought in
Rick Moorhouse from the UK for the day’s musical entertainment, and he mixed great live sets during dinner, and a club set for later, for the dancing. Italyweddings in house lighting team was used for all A/V effects.
Photography as ever, elegantly and professionally captured throughout the day by the talented
Ed Peers.
There were little surprises throughout the day., to keep the momentum going which can be necessary with a long, relaxed Italian meal at a castle.
The Prosecco Car arrived during aperitifs to freshen up the guests. The millefoglie wedding cake was made live, real time in front of the guests, and the floral arch was transformed into a photo-booth opportunity with illuminated “LOVE” letters. The dancing time was accompanied by a U.S.A. corner of live cooking of burgers and a delicious selection of donuts….
