Sabina and Alistair, love in the time of Covid… and what a lovely couple to know. They held a symbolic blessing in this charming converted hamlet on the borders of the Val D’Orcia – the epitome that southern Tuscan landscape so recognizable with it’s open fields and gently undulating hills of corn and odd groupings if cypress trees along wining dirt roads… But also the lovely towns of Montalcino – home to Brunello wine – and Pienza – the heart of pecorino cheese production in Italy
Sabina and Alistair one one of the few couples able to marry in Italyin the late summer of 2020, and we helped them navigate that potential minefield of rules and regulations, of fears for traveling and national lock-down threats. Their wedding was smaller than they had planned, but to all effects, the same: the same amazing florals and cuisine. the same live band and dancing, the same shared love and experience with the family and friends they love.
The lovely hamlet of Borgo San Lucio was the backdrop for the special stay – and the more extended vacation of the group. The little village has amazing private spaces and incredible views from the main pool right over the Tuscan hills. It’s a genuine, unspoiled and unpretentious home withing the heart of Italy
